Getting others to join my ring - 04/26/2004
How do I get people to join my ring? Is there any sort of bullitin board or something? Because that whole invite new memebers thing asks for an email, and the only thing I know about these other great sites that I want to invite is their webring ID.

Several suggestions for you:

1. Visit the sites you would like in your ring and email them directly from their site.

2. Collect email addresses from sites you visit and would like to have join your ring, then use the WR "invite" function to let them know.

3. Join several rings similar to yours with your own WebRing's home page.

4. Find your most highly trafficed page and place a copy of the HTML code for your ring near the top of the page.

I hope some of those will help. :))

Can you include the URL to the "join ring" screen, in your invites?

If you really like some of these sites, grab their contact e-mail address off the site (most have them) and invite them personally - I would.
