Webrings in the News

Today's Oxford Student carries an article mentioning a webring.

The article here
http://www.oxfordstudent.com/2004-04-22/features/1

It mentions the "Friends of Swastika webring".

After a bit of searching it appears that this page
http://www.manwoman.net/swastika/
is the page cited by the article, but that the particular webring may not exist any more.

(The opening lines of that page are the opening lines cited by the article.)

A search of Google reveals that WebRing.com once had a webring with an id of "swastika", but it no longer seems to exist.

In fact, a search at WebRing.com doesn't reveal ANY webring with "swastika" as a key word of any kind.

I cannot find the webring on any other webring system either, so it is possible that, while the article refers to the Friends of Swastika webring, that the webring part may be just history now.
