New Ring limits? - 11/22/2006
What happens if I stay a free WebRing 1.0 member?
Nothing. You can keep all the Ring Communities and memberships you currently have. There are no limits on quantity, other than we will limit the number of Ring Community memberships to 50 per site

I cut my rings down to five to avoid being charged. I was sad, but okay with that because they were the ones I really needed. But now, it seems I could have kept them all. lol I loved my Web Rings.

Question: Does 'currently have' mean exactly that? I'm a free member so can I add more rings or not? I can imagine Ring Managers are going to more particular and restrictive in choosing the sites they want to add. That may affect me now, where it didn't before.

You can apply back now, though. Go ahead. Since some of the "bad" ones are gone or going, you can choose the "good" ones to belong to now.
